What is Reflexology?

Based on the theory that different points on the foot correspond with certain areas of the body, Reflexology can help a person to feel better and to relieve tension caused by stress or illness.

By skilfully applying pressure to reflex areas in the feet you can rebalance, destress and re-energise other vital areas of the body and create an overall feeling of wellbeing.

What can Reflexology help to alleviate?

It is important to note that reflexology is a therapy; it is not a cure but it can help to alleviate the symptoms of:

  • Back, neck and muscle problems
  • Difficulty sleeping
  • Stress
  • Digestion issues
  • General Tension

Reflexology is also a great way to give your body a little ‘MOT’ and to have some time to yourself to relax.

What happens in a reflexology session?

Mark is a qualified Reiki practitioner and he combines Reiki with reflexology to achieve optimum relaxation and health benefits. This method is more than just a massage as it focuses on relaxing the body from the inside and promotes toxin drainage, leaving you feeling rejuvenated.

The treatment room is a peaceful, relaxing environment for you to enjoy your session. You will be asked questions on your health history to determine the best reflexology process for you.

You will be asked to remove your shoes and socks and to sit or lie down and get comfortable. Once you are comfortable, Mark will use massage and sweeping motions to apply pressure to the reflex areas of your feet.
